Our “No Surprises” Process

Our goal is to serve as your trusted advisor as you continue to grow and progress in your career.  See below for details on our process and an explanation of how we partner with you every step of the way.

Step One: Initial conversation

AquantUs’ exceptional service starts with a call with you to learn more about your short and long-term career goals and requirements for a new role. We focus on building cohesive teams and matching your skill-set, experience, goals, values, and priorities with those of our clients.

Step Two: Resume review

We work with you to ensure your resume properly reflects your personal value proposition and can assist you with tailoring your resume for specific jobs when appropriate.

Step Three: Presenting opportunities for your consideration

Based upon the information obtained during our initial conversations, we bring you only those opportunities that align with your skill-set, experience, goals, values, and priorities. We treat every search as highly confidential and will never submit your resume without your consent.

Step Four: In-person* meeting

Once we identify an opportunity that you wish to pursue, we schedule an in-person* meeting with you to learn more about you and to dig deeper into your short and long-term goals, requirements for a new role, and the companies in which you would best thrive.

*When physical visits/interviews are not practical due to non-local or international needs, video-conferencing is available.

Step Five: Presenting your resume and profile to our clients

With your consent, we submit your resume to our client for consideration along with your value proposition, an assessment of your qualifications for the position, and a summary of the results of our in-person* meeting.  Once we submit your resume for a role, we will provide you with a status update every two weeks, or immediately if there is a change in status.

*When physical visits/interviews are not practical due to non-local or international needs, video-conferencing is available.

Step Six: Scheduling interviews and job specific interview preparation

If you are selected for an interview, we provide you with an interview preparation package specific to that role and hiring manager. We also do a mock interview with you to ensure you have all of the resources you need to have a successful meeting with our client. We follow-up with both you and the client after each round of interviews to ensure that no surprises arise and share interview feedback received from our client to assist you in preparing for future interviews.

Step Seven: Offer Negotiation

Should our client wish to extend you an offer, we negotiate on your behalf to ensure you receive the best offer, that the negotiations go smoothly, and that there are no surprises at the offer stage.

Step Eight: Follow up

We follow-up with you regularly once the offer has been accepted and continue to do so after your start date to ensure the new role is going well and that you have everything you need to be successful.
